Colonel Maharaja Manikya Sir Bir Bikram Kishore Deb Barman Bahadur (19 August 1908 – 17 May 1947)
was the last ruling Maharaja of Tripura before it merged with India in 1949.
The Maharaja was Commander-in-Chief of the Tripura State Forces, an Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel in the Indian Army, Honorary Colonel of the 5th (Bengal Presidency) Urban Infantry Territorial Army, and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and the Royal Society of Literature.〔'TRIPURA, Colonel HH Maharaja Manikya Sir Bir Bikram Kishore Deb Barman Bahadur, Maharaja and Ruler of', in ''Who Was Who'' (London: A. & C.
